DIRECTOR OF QUANTITY SURVEYING - COMMERCIAL OFFICE SPECIALIST

LONDON

Capstone Recruitment are working exclusively with one of London's premiere small - medium sized multi-disciplinary construction consultancies who operate across sectors. This business prides themselves on their ability to add value to the clients they work with, being well-versed to advise with client requirements as many of the team used to be client-side themselves.

They are looking for a QS director level candidate with consultancy experience, with a specialism in Commercial Offices. The ideal candidate will be happy running multiple projects of varying value concurrently, managing direct reports and also contributing to general wider business responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • To deliver high calibre and professional cost management services across the Commercial Offices space.
  • Be a leader of both internal teams and external parties.
  • Manage and develop client relationships & representing the office/team in the market.
  • To work across a broad range of projects to include Cut and Carve, CAT A, Refurbishments, re-positioning of Commercial Office Space etc.
  • Ability to advise clients and stakeholders on procurement & contract strategy.
  • Undertake data collection to support benchmarking and knowledge management.
  • Experience of delivering high quality services from inception to completion.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Flexible and have the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Willing to integrate into a dynamic, engaged and supportive team.

Qualifications

MRICS qualified candidates with experience and clients within the Offices sector is preferred. The successful candidate will take a lead role in the delivery of high-profile portfolios from inception through to completion. The role will be client facing and the candidate will be expected to have strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with client representatives at a senior/board level. This will suit someone who is highly ambitious and wants to work towards Equity within a business that is in a stage of growth.
