Training Business Analyst

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit 2 x Business Analysts for initial 6 month contracts with potential to extend on a rate of £450-£500/day (Inside of IR35). These roles will be hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in-office working.
To help the organisation understand the impact of the new curriculum on our people, processes and technologies. The impact of changes required to support the new ways of learning and teaching will need to be assessed and target state(s) and implementation plan(s) agreed. Outputs from the costed impact analysis will inform decisions and contribute to the full curriculum transformation business case and implementation plan.
- Plan your approach to identifying and documenting the technologies and business processes that are impacted by the new curriculum. For each proposal you will map future state options including assessments of the time, cost and training implications, so your expert analytical skills and high levels of accuracy will be essential for this role. Significant and evidenced practical experience of working as a business analyst in a learning organisation or a similar professional environment such as an edtech company, training provider or digital agency.
- Effective use of business analysis tools and techniques to successfully deliver IT based solutions
- Working collaboratively and effectively with business, education and IT subject matter experts
- Significant experience of working with stakeholders to understand the connections between the people, processes, systems, data and interfaces in a complex organisation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to consistently produce clear and engaging analysis outputs, and present information to others.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment with user story writing, user story mapping, story estimating, developing personas and using Kanban boards or similar
- Experience of working with learning content or training providers using virtual learning environments (VLEs), assessment and feedback platforms, digital skills support or media production.
- Experience of documenting and evaluating requirements and suppliers for procurement or market analysis projects.
