My client, a leading company is looking for a Crypto Forensic Investigator.
A Crypto Forensic Investigator is a specialized professional responsible for analyzing, tracking, and investigating digital assets and transactions involving cryptocurrencies. They employ advanced forensic techniques to uncover illicit activities, fraud, money laundering, and other criminal behaviors within the realm of blockchain and digital currency transactions.

Transaction Analysis: Examine blockchain transactions to trace the flow of funds, identify patterns, and detect suspicious activities.
Wallet Identification: Use blockchain analysis tools to link wallet addresses to individuals or entities, aiding in the identification of suspects.
Fraud Detection: Investigate and identify fraudulent schemes, including Ponzi schemes, phishing attacks, and other scams involving cryptocurrencies.
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist law enforcement agencies and legal authorities in criminal investigations related to cryptocurrencies.
Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings, explaining complex cryptocurrency concepts and presenting forensic findings.
Research and Development: Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and tools in cryptocurrency forensics, continuously improving investigative methodologies.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other forensic experts, law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices.
Blockchain Expertise: In-depth understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms.
Forensic Tools: Proficiency in using specialized forensic software and tools for blockchain analysis, such as Chainalysis, CipherTrace, and Elliptic.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret transaction data, identify patterns, and extract meaningful insights.
Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards governing cryptocurrencies and financial transactions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Finance, or a related field.
Certification in cryptocurrency forensics (e.g., Certified Cryptocurrency Forensic Investigator - CCFI) is advantageous.
Previous experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, law enforcement, or financial crime investigations is preferred.
