Job Title: Supervisor - Highways Projects (Temp to Perm)
Location: Stroudwater Depot, Gloucestershire
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are seeking a skilled Supervisor to join our Highways Maintenance Team based at Stroudwater Depot. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for an experienced individual with a background in highways or construction. You will be responsible for overseeing highway maintenance projects, managing teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering quality work.

Site Supervision: Oversee daily operations on highways maintenance projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

* Site Measurement: Take accurate site measurements for project documentation and reporting.

* Plant & Materials Ordering: Manage the daily ordering of materials and plant equipment to ensure smooth project progression.

* Site Inspections & Inductions: Conduct site inspections and inductions before work commences, ensuring all team members are briefed on safety and project requirements.

* Assist in the preparation of weekly cost and value reports, tracking project progress and financial performance.

Preferably with a background in the highways or construction sector, particularly in managing multiple teams on large-scale projects.

* Software Proficiency: Strong ability to use Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, and Excel for reporting and communication.

* Compliance: Must be PAYE.
