Manufacturing Director
Parkinson | Lee Executive Search are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturer of FMCG with the appointment of a multisite Manufacturing Director.
This is an excellent opportunity, reporting into Group you will play a key role in leading and optimising the manufacturing operations across several sites. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing large-scale production, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
This Manufacturing Directors’ key responsibilities will include:

Provide strategic leadership and direction to multiple manufacturing sites ensuring alignment with the company goals and objectives.
Implement best practice to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across all sites. Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures to achieve financial targets.
Mentor and develop site managers and their teams, promoting a culture of high performance and professional growth.
Ensure all sites comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the highest quality of products and processes.
Champion a safe working environment, prioritising employee health and safety across all facilities.
Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, integrating innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
Work closely with senior leadership, supply chain and other key stakeholders to drive the strategic initiatives and ensure seamless operations.
Parkinson | Lee Executive Search are particularly keen to speak with experienced Manufacturing Directors with multi-site experience in addition to the following:

Degree qualified (engineering or manufacturing preferred) with a minimum of 10 years in a senior manufacturing leadership role and minimum of 5 years managing multiple sites.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality systems. Experience with ERP Systems and data-driven decision making.
Willingness to travel frequently between sites.
