We are currently looking for a Press Setter to join our well established client in Swindon.
The successful candidates will be personally motivated to maintain a professional service to both internal and external customers and ensure that high standards are met at all times.
Duties:
  • Set and run Presses in line with demand.
  • Ensure first offs are carried out diligently.
  • Work to production targets.
  • Working close with Team Leaders and Supervisors.
  • Keep work stations clean and tidy and ensuring all scrap is removed to correct recycling bins.
  • Ensure information required for tool maintenance and repairs are updated accurately.
  • Support the Press Shop with the move to the company goal of lean manufacturing.
Skills:
  • Capable of setting and running a wide range of Roll Feed Presses and secondary Presses.
  • Experience of operating a punch press/turret press or press brake.
  • Clear understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Engineering and manufacturing background.
  • Ability to use various measuring equipment.
Monday - Friday
7am - 4pm
30k - 35k - Depending on experience
