Service Management Office Analyst
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

£35 hours per week – Monday to Friday

We have an exciting and new opportunity for a Service Management Office Analyst to join our Technology Team based at our Head Office in Worcester. You will assist the Service Office Manager with the effective and efficient management, development and improvement of Service Management Office (SMO) Services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality Technology Operations projects and reporting.

Technology is one of the key enablers of our Group's strategy so having the right person to support the successful delivery of modernising our Technology Operations is crucial.
This role is based in Worcester and will include a balance of home and office working (3 days in the office and 2 days from home).
The role of Service Management Office Analyst will include:
Analyse, react to and provide high quality management information to all stakeholders on the Operations Portfolio, as well as specific programmes or project progress to support on-going operational planning
Assisting with the provision of high-quality management information to all stakeholders for all programme or project progress and issues to support ongoing operational planning and delivery including benefits tracking
Identifying and providing recommendations for continuous improvement of SMO, including the provision of information and resources, project plans, risk management, communication plans and facilitation activities
Contribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programmes in support of the Group’s objectives

Experience of managing Project or Service Management Office services for a variety of concurrent medium to large scale projects/portfolios, with an understanding of a full project life cycle
Proven experience in working with others to effectively deliver projects
Some experience in mapping processes and building tools to support portfolio activities and deliver business needs, including reviewing and improving existing processes and tools
Excellent organisational and planning skills

~ Role salary is £37,414 with an additional policy allowance of £1,346 per annum (rising to £39,383 with an additional policy allowance of £1,417 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
