An exciting opportunity awaits you to join a leading renewable energy developer with a 25GW pipeline making them the largest developer in the country. Position: Senior Design Engineer Location: London (3 days office-based per week) Salary: Competitive About the Company: The organization is a pioneer in renewable energy technology development, dedicated to creating a sustainable and eco-friendly future through the development of large scale renewable energy projects. Responsibilities: The chosen Senior Design Engineer will play a pivotal role within the business helping them to deliver their impressive pipeline of projects. Responsibilities will include:

  • The designing of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage projects.
  • Providing design expertise support to the wider team in the development of projects.
  • Finalizing and singing off designs before delivery.
  • Being the go-to technical and design expertise person for any support required in the development of projects
  • Managing less experienced members of the team and providing mentorship to those who need it.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Design Engineer within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven experience within renewables energies such as BESS, Solar or Wind.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
