We are looking for a Project Engineer to be part of our Project Managementteam, based in Hounslow BYD London Office, and will be required to travel.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Project Management:

  • Managing various projects related to bus delivery, product launches, and process improvements.
  • Create project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate project activities, tasks, and resources to ensure timely execution and delivery of project milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future projects.
  • Coordinate with different teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of project plans, closely tracking and assessing their progress.
  • Prepare project reports, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize project performance.

Business Support:

  • Support the sales team in managing customer inquiries, quotations, and satisfaction.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats

Your profile:

  • Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Automotive technical
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management roles, preferably in automotive industry.
  • Excellent English Skill. Chinese will be a plus.
  • Preferably with driving licence
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Result-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has right-to-work in the UK.
