As part of our expansion strategy, we have recently initiated direct purchases from distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in Italy, enabling us to offer brand new luxury products at attractive prices to our discerning clientele. The procurement and sale of these products will be launched as a division that will work side-by-side with our preloved business, and coincide with the development of CSD’s new regional EU office in Milan, Italy.

As a young company with around 30 employees, everyone knows each other on a first name basis, and it's easy to develop close working relationships with management and the CEO. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Fulfillment and Distribution Manager to oversee the efficient processing and delivery of customer orders for our luxury consignment company based in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing order fulfillment, resolving issues, coordinating transportation between our office and retail locations, and ensuring seamless logistics operations. This role will work in close collaboration with their counterpart in the Italian CSD office which will be opened in mid-2024.
Coordinate with relevant store personnel to locate inventory and prepare orders for shipment.
Send shipping instructions to the appropriate parties for timely dispatch.
Liaise with courier companies such as Royal Mail and DHL to schedule pickups, track shipments, and manage delivery logistics.
Monitor service levels and address any issues or delays with shipping partners.
Inventory Transportation:
Organize and oversee the transportation of inventory between our office and retail locations.
Coordinate regular shipments to ensure adequate stock levels at each store, with a frequency of twice weekly.
Manage the dry cleaning and repair processes for consigned products as needed, ensuring they meet quality standards before shipment or display.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.
Supervise the storage of products in the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and efficient use of space. Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the warehouse operations, including proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage or defects. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize errors. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
~2-6 years of experience in fulfillment and distribution management, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
~ Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation operations.
~ Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.
~ Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations, particularly in handling fashion products.
~ Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
~ Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
