The Role As Social Media Manager you will be responsible for crafting engaging content, developing innovative social media campaigns, and keeping our brand voice fresh and exciting across all digital platforms. Your role will include analysing trends, collaborating with the marketing team, and using your unique flair to captivate our audience on social media, blogs, and our website. Content Calendar and Post Management:
Create and plan content calendars for social media, blogs, and website updates.
Support Marketing Team:
Support the marketing team in developing and producing assets to generate brand awareness and product sales.
Contribute to business and brand growth by adhering to strategies and schedules.
Design delightful experiences with users in mind, maintaining excellent graphic and visual branding across all digital platforms.
Uphold consistent and considered use of typography, illustration, and graphic elements.
Maintain a fresh approach to creative projects and awareness of visual trends.
Refine and evolve the brand's visual identity according to brand and business needs.
Copywriting and Content Generation:
Use ChatGPT and Hootsuite AI to generate and refine copy for social media captions, blog posts, and website content.
Develop and edit copy for images produced to ensure clarity and engagement.
Maintain a consistent and engaging tone of voice across all digital platforms, including social media, blogs, and website content.
Maintain brand voice in all digital content.
Ensure consistency in messaging and tone across social media.
Regularly review and update content to align with the evolving brand voice and company objectives.

Experience: 4-6 years of social media management experience, with a proven track record of growing and engaging audiences across multiple platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube).
Community Engagement: Demonstrated ability to create and nurture online communities, particularly those involving parents, educators, and children.
Educational Content: Experience in creating and managing social media content for educational products or services is highly desirable.
Advanced knowledge of social media platform algorithms, best practices, and emerging trends.
Hootsuite Expertise: Proficiency in using Hootsuite for social media management, content creation, and analytics.
Audience Understanding: Deep understanding of the needs, interests, and communication preferences of parents, educators, and children in the context of educational products.
Collaborative Skills: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including writers, illustrators, community managers, and video producers.
Video and AI Familiarity: Experience with video content creation and familiarity with AI-generated content is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or the work experience to match).
Proven experience using social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and social media management tools (e.g., Experience with Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong copywriting skills, with an excellent understanding of tone of voice and ability to adapt writing style for different platforms.
Experience in managing and developing brand voice guidelines across multiple digital platforms.
