Company Overview: We are a leading construction firm specializing in large-scale projects, committed to delivering excellence and innovation in every endeavor. Currently, we are embarking on a significant venture - a £22 million CAT A project located in Tottenham, London. To ensure the seamless execution of this endeavor, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join our team.

Role Overview: As the Senior Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement and installation of mechanical systems for the Tottenham project. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of mechanical engineering, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project timelines, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the mechanical procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.

2. Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.

3. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of mechanical milestones.

4. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to coordinate mechanical activities with other project phases.

5. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.

6. Resolve any mechanical-related issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.

7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing mechanical installations.

8. Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

* Proven experience (minimum of 8 years) in managing mechanical aspects of construction projects, preferably in commercial or mixed-use developments.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and materials.

* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage procurement processes, subcontractors, and project budgets.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
