Our Secondary school, located in Redbridge, is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of SEND to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2024. We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) or Early Career Teachers (ECTs). As a Teacher of SEND at our School, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students with Autism or Social Communication Needs. Our SEN Department is an additional resourced provision (ARP) catering to 40 secondary-aged students. Teacher of SEND Must have QTS Passionate about SEND Must have experience successfully teaching GCSEs and A-Levels in a school setting Must have an Enhanced DBS Check Experience in securing positive outcomes for children with SEND or a strong desire to train further in this field Have a child-centred ethos Excellent leadership skills The ability to manage and support a multi-disciplinary staff team while working collaboratively with a wide range of people, including parents and carers, mainstream colleagues, and external professionals An enthusiastic person with strong organizational skills School Details
