We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the chemical or water industry and be proficient with CRM systems. This role is integral to our operations, providing expert support and driving sales performance.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support and solutions.
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads, and convert inquiries into orders.
  • Maintain and update customer records within the CRM system.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Provide customers with quotations and negotiate terms if necessary.
  • Monitor sales metrics and meet personal and team sales targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Internal Sales Engineer within the chemical or water industry.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to discuss products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
