The company’s Head Office is at Westlakes Science and Technology Park in West Cumbria, with systems integration, assembly & testing facilities in Egremont, Cumbria and design offices in Preston, Lancashire. This is augmented by a network of staff working across the UK, creating a dynamic and highly skilled team.

The successful candidate will be a competent and proven EC&I Design Engineer, capable of producing, checking and facilitating designs, drawings, supporting calculations and technical documents (inc. plans) with minimum supervision. They will have the ability to translate a client's requirements into a meaningful engineering and technical solution. Maintain the engineering quality of the project delivery, ensuring compliance with client specifications and engineering standards and local domain policy and procedures.
Maintain compliance with Engineering Standards and applicable legislation.
Participate in Design and System Level Reviews. Ensure that subsequent design meets the project and client requirements.
Ensure the confidentiality and security of data and information received from clients is upheld.
Ensure effective project delivery to time and cost.
Good working knowledge of EC&I design software; Autocad Electrical, E-Plan P8 or similar
Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline or relevant experience
Must be able to obtain or hold suitable security clearance and be a British National
Conversant with the Office 365 suite of software
Knowledge of one or more of a variety of PES technologies – PLC, SCADA,DCS, SQL Server, Modicon M, MIS/HLS
