The Job Mission
This hybrid site focused role requires candidates living within commuting distance of Bridgwater, or willing to relocate with support. You will join your future team supporting mechanical construction activities on one of the UK's most significant energy projects. The role offers hands on experience and strong exposure to large scale engineering environments.
Responsibilities:
Assist with installation works following drawings and specifications
Support senior engineers resolving construction queries
Participate in inspections and contribute to routine site walkdowns
Maintain accurate construction records, inspection findings and updates
Help review documentation to ensure alignment with engineering details
Liaise with contractors to support delivery across site activities
Contribute to quality checks on installed mechanical equipment
Promote safe working practices across all construction work fronts
Required Skills and Qualifications
Qualification in mechanical engineering or a construction discipline
Experience working in construction or industrial project environments
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and documents
Understanding of mechanical components used in construction
Background from utilities, water, power generation or general construction
Confident using Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation tasks
Willing to work full time on site in the Bridgwater area
