Biology Teachers

Our Science Department are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated Biology Teacher with a love of education to join the team to encourage all students to make progress in this subject no matter their ability.

Enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the Department and wider College through sharing resources and good practice, lesson observation, collaborative teaching, mentoring and active participation in continuing professional development
Play a role in the extra-curricular life of the Department, including contributing to off-timetable workshops, extension programs, pre-university seminars, competitions, etc.
We are a seven day a week boarding school and all teaching staff should be aware that there are lessons on a Saturday morning and expects teachers to participate enthusiastically in the activities that are offered to pupils during evenings and weekends
Good level degree in this subject or another directly related subject or a suitable Post Graduate qualification 3 A-Levels, IB or equivalent
Recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, or equivalent experience
Teaching experience at A/IB level
Awareness of Safeguarding requirements and good practice within a boarding school setting
Involvement in extra-curricular activities (professional, amateur or voluntary)
