The Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB), is a not-for-profit company established in 2006 to lead the insurance industry's collective fight against insurance fraud.
We act as a central hub for sharing insurance fraud data and intelligence, using our unique position at the heart of the industry and unrivalled access to data to detect and disrupt organised fraud networks. Our work not only helps insurers identify fraud and avoid the financial consequences but we also support police, regulators and other law enforcement agencies in finding fraudsters and bringing them to justice.
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping our membership structure, governance, legal documentation, operational procedures, and levy structures. This position demands innovative thinking and leadership in business analysis, ensuring that the transformations align with strategic objectives and stakeholder needs.
A role that combines analytical rigor with broad, creative problem-solving.
Spearhead comprehensive analysis and solution design efforts, impacting every part of our organization to ensure alignment with our strategic vision.
Lead the development of governance frameworks, membership rules, and review of legal documentation as part of our expansive program.
Produce high-quality documentation and process models that reflect both current and future state goals, influencing significant organizational changes.
An experienced Business Analyst with formal qualifications and extensive experience in managing large-scale transformation projects within membership-driven or similar organisations.
Experience of strategic project delivery and the ability to manage comprehensive organisational changes.
Proven experience in an agile and waterfall delivery environment
Scrum, Kanban, Time Boxing , Adaptive planning, Burn Down Lists
Intermediate level experience of Customer Journey and Value Mapping, Use Cases, Storyboarding, Sprint Design, Sprint Management, Retrospectives
Background in root cause, bottleneck, impact and other process (not systems) analysis methods
Ability to work within high-performing virtual teams and highly collaborative
Business case, business requirements and requirements elaboration experience
Proven ability to operate successfully across varied business functions
FTC for 12 months
35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
