We are currently collaborating with a UK based Architectural, Design and Workplace consultancy. Established over 20 years ago and a RIBA charted practice, their expertise lies in Residential and Commercial sectors. With offices in Berkshire and London their team of Architects, and Interior Designers collaborate seamlessly to bring projects to successful completion. They work in various sectors ranging from private bespoke houses, specialist labs, workplace analysis & design, local community projects to retail experience environments. Architectural Technologist – Milton Keynes Our client is currently seeking to recruit an Architectural Technologist to join them in their Milton Keynes office. As an Architectural Technologist in a consultancy, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between architectural design and construction. Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with architects to transform design concepts into detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications. This includes creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
  • Use BIM software to create accurate and detailed digital models of buildings. This helps in visualizing the design, detecting clashes, and coordinating with other disciplines
  • Ensure that designs comply with local and national building regulations and codes, covering aspects like safety, accessibility, fire protection, and energy efficiency
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects, including client budgets, schedules, and communications. This includes facilitating project meetings and perform site and field reviews
  • Provide technical advice on materials, construction methods, and innovative solutions to design problems
  • Develop and analyse specifications, ensuring that all technical details are accurately documented and communicated to the construction team
