My client is looking for a Trainee / Junior Project Engineer to join their busy engineering team. They are in the manufacturing sector and are looking for an individual with A level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering a BTEC or HND. GREAT opportunity if you are interested in the technical aspect of engineering
This is perfect if you have just finished A Levels and are looking for a career in engineering/ Project Management
You will be a part of the Project team and play a crucial part in ensuring successful deliveries in projects. As a Trainee/ Junior Project Manager, you will receive great support throughout the projects and go on to gain skills in the project cycle and understand scope, budget and scheduling and learn how to manage and communicate change and deal with issues within the projects.
Contribute to project reports when required
? Acquire a general understanding of project schedules and sequences, assisting in their implementation.
? Provide support to Project Engineers and Project Engineering Managers regularly
? Attend project sites, adhere to customer site rules and working regulations.
A level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is essential
The candidate would be conscientious and hardworking, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality work. Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is desirable not essential and hold a valid driving license.
strong problem-solving skills and good understanding of Health and Safety but it is not essential as full training will be provided.
5 hours a week - Monday to Friday
24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
