Job Description:

As a Print Finisher at Rapidity, you will be responsible for the final steps in the printing process, ensuring that all printed materials meet our high-quality standards. You will work closely with the production team to perform a variety of finishing tasks, including cutting, binding, laminating, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutting and Trimming: Precisely cut and trim printed materials using guillotines and other cutting tools.
  • Binding: Operate binding machines to produce finished products, including perfect binding, saddle stitching, and wire binding.
  • Folding and Creasing: Fold and crease materials accurately using automated and manual equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring that they meet client specifications and Rapidity’s standards.
  • Packaging: Pack finished products for delivery, ensuring they are securely and attractively presented.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in operating finishing equipment such as guillotines, laminators, binding machines, and folding machines.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
  • Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with the production team to meet tight deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and maintain equipment in good working order.
