Music Teacher

Music Teacher Location: Leicester Position: Music Teacher Dates: September 2024 Days: Monday to Friday Pay Rate: MPS1 - UPS3 Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and informative music lessons to students across various age groups. Prepare lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and accommodate the varying learning needs and interests of students. Use a variety of instructional techniques and musical instruments to enhance learning and student engagement. Assess and evaluate students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment, managing classroom dynamics effectively. Collaborate with faculty and adhere to school policies and guidelines. Qualifications: Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS) or equivalent experience in music education. Proficiency in a wide range of musical instruments and genres. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Previous experience teaching music in a school setting is preferred. Current DBS check or willingness to undergo a new check.
