Equity Reward and Valuations Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager
Our Equity Reward and Valuations team led by Associate Partners, Alex Hall and Al Milne, work across a broad range of clients in all sectors and on various projects.
Due to the continued growth of the firm and our growing service line, we are looking for an  Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager to join us in one of our offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow or Bristol. Minimum of three years’ experience (Assistant Manager), four years’ experience (Manager) or six years’ experience (Senior Manager) in a tax role with a level of exposure to equity reward, share schemes or valuations either in practice, in industry or a mixture of both;
A good working knowledge/ experience of the key relevant areas of tax involved in Equity Reward and Valuations, including:
Tax-advantaged and non-tax-advantaged share schemes (benefits, qualifying conditions, etc).
An understanding of the fundamental principles and methodologies of tax valuations.
Due Diligence – work with the wider tax due diligence teams by providing support on employment-related securities and share scheme matters (e.g., attend calls, review responses/documents, identify tax risks and quantify them where necessary and prepare reports).
Annual compliance requirements for employment-related securities and tax-advantaged share schemes.
Interest in development of junior staff members including new graduates;
