Our client, a well-established animal clinic in London, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgical Nurse. As a Veterinary Surgical Nurse, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional veterinary care, with a specific focus on orthopaedic surgeries and general emergency cases. The Veterinary Surgical Nurse's expertise and compassion will contribute to the overall well-being and recovery of the animal patients.
Assist veterinary surgeons during orthopaedic operations, ensuring a safe and sterile surgical environment.
• Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and pain management protocols as directed by veterinary surgeons.
• Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients during recovery, administering medications, and changing dressings.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for orthopaedic patients and maintain accurate medical records.
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week), including 1 in 4 weekends
