CNC Turner Our Client based in Sandy are recruiting for CNC Turners, they are recruiting for a Setter/Operator and a programmer. The ideal candidate's would have sliding head experience, but not essential. CNC Turner All full time, permanent roles Hours: 40hour week position Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-15:00 All overtime worked over 40 hours, is paid at 1.5x basic wage Pay: £12-£19p/h, dependant experience and the outcome of a skills test (Operator/Setter/Programmer) Holiday: 25days as standard, plus bank holidays CNC Turner Benefits Package Enhanced family friendly policies - maternity/ paternity/ adoption/ shared parental leave/ bereavement/ Company sick pay Paid days off for 'First Day at School' and 'Grandparent Day' Loyalty awards - Extra holiday and monetary value for different Refer a friend scheme available Internal and external development and training offered Adhoc rewards i.e., fish and chips Enrolment into our company Health shield benefit, providing cashback for routine appointments and discounts/perk on big brands (Once probation has been completed) CNC Turner Core Responsibilities Being flexible to operate any of the machinery required to meet the production schedule and agreed targets To ensure orders are completed to the correct standard, within budget and on time to meet the company Quality Objectives To work from customer drawings and specifications to produce programs to the company standard format To inspect parts following the Checking/Inspection Process Actively monitor working practises and provide feedback to improve efficiencies and job profitability Comply with the company Health & Safety procedures Maintain a clean and manageable work area ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained in accordance with the Company Code Of Conduct Undertake weekly maintenance checks of machinery and record in the machinery maintenance log Comply with the company Environmental and Recycling policy Undertaking any additional duties as required Willing to train and knowledge share to other team members including apprentices CNC Turner Key Skills and Knowledge Skills: Strong Team player with 'enthusiastic and positive attitude' Strong organisational and time management skillsKnowledge requirements: Proficient in CNC Machining with Fanuc, control systemsFor more information about this role or other vacancies please call (phone number removed) and speak to Kim, Eddie or Aimee.
