PGNiG Supply & Trading GmbH (PST) is the international trading arm of the Orlen Group with offices in Munich, London and Warsaw. PST is 100% owned by the Polish state-controlled company Orlen S.A., an integrated, multi-utility undertaking with a long-standing history in the energy industry and further plans for expansion.

As PST we are active in the European energy trading industry and globally on the LNG market. PST is headquartered in Munich, Germany, with subsidiaries in London dedicated to LNG trading and shipping. PST UK has concluded long-term charters of a total of eight new-build LNG carriers and has an increasing supply of LNG, mainly into the Polish LNG terminal in Świnoujście and the Lithuanian LNG terminal in Klaipeda. PST’s fleet also involves short- and mid-term charters.

PST UK is at a key stage in its plans for growth and will look to further develop and to diversify its short-term and mid-term LNG trading activities across destinations and into new global LNG markets.

To support PST LNG Trading Limited , we are looking for an HR Allrounder (full-time role). You will also be expected to handle (very limited) HR matters for PST LNG Shipping Limited, a sister company of PST LNG Trading Limited. A total target number of FTEs is supposed to attain 25.

Currently the London team is small (around 15 people, planned to grow dynamically over upcoming months), so candidates must have the ability to thrive in an environment where a hands-on approach, flexibility and accountability are key. This exciting opportunity is tailored for individuals with at least 3 years of experience, preferably within the commodity trading, energy or shipping industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

•Performing the onboarding and offboarding process,

•Assisting with terminations and exits and managing exit interviews,

•HR data management,

•Liasing with providers of HR services (esp. payroll, benefits, providers of training courses and professional development services, recruiters),

•Preparing, monitoring and executing HR plans (training courses, payroll&benefits / HR budget, HR services),

•Development of annual and mid-term HR plans (HR budgets),

•Analysis and preparation of HR budget realisation reports,

•Corporate reporting of HR data,

•Assistance with recruitment,

•Verification of contracts and invoices from HR service providers,

•Identifying ways to continuously improve policies and processes,

•Developing HR policies and procedures in line with Group standards and market practices,

•Ongoing cooperation and communication with PST Munich Head Office and/or Orlen Head Office,

•Assistance with relocation of employees, including assistance with the immigration process of candidates from outside of the UK,

•Ad-hoc evaluations and analyses.

What you bring:

3+ years of experience in HR, payroll/benefits administration, controlling, and/or accounting roles,

•Bachelor's degree in HR, management, finance or similar field, ideally CIPD qualified or holding an equivalent qualification with a business management, accounting or HR management focus,

Knowledge of HR best practices,

•Sufficient understanding of pensions and insurance benefits in order to manage these schemes (with external support from a benefits broker),

•Working knowledge of UK employment legislation,

•Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively with related issues and individuals using tact, diplomacy, and discretion,

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are indispensable, knowledge of Polish and/or German is desirable,

Energy, LNG, oil & gas or shipping industry experience beneficial,

•Strong analytical skills,

•Ability to synthesize large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data into actionable information,

•Strong attention to detail,

•Self-starter motivated to improve performance and processes as required.
