Job Description

Applications Director required within a leading Specialty Insurer. The company are growing their SLT and as such are looking to onboard an Applications Director with experience in a role with either a regional or global remit previously, within another Insurer.

The primary responsibilities of the role are to manage all application development, deployment, maintenance and hosting activities within the business. There will be around 400 applications to manage across a team of c400-500 globally. The role requires you to be able to negotiate with and manage 3rd party resources at a global, regional and country level too, so experience negotiating and procuring is a must-have.

You will have the opportunity to grow and shape the function as you see fit, there isn't an expectation that you will require direction from the C-suite, this is your world. There is an expectation that you will have been in a similar role previously.
