About our Nursery
Join our enthusiastic team at Busy Bees in St Albans Bernard Street, an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 63 children. Our longstanding staff are dedicated to providing the best possible start in life for every child, building strong relationships with local schools and food banks to support our community. Located just a 20-minute walk from the city station and a 10-minute stroll from the local shopping centre, our nursery offers convenient access for families and staff. What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:
Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.
Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Person Role: Oversee childrens development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education
Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
