Job Title: Senior Principal System Engineer - Electronics / Software Location: Hybrid Remote / Hampshire

Verso Recruitment Group seeks an experienced Senior Principal System Engineer to join a long-standing, privately owned electronics manufacturer in Hampshire. This role offers a significant amount of remote working.

As a Senior Principal System Engineer, you will define and advise on approaches for translating system definitions into detailed design specifications through to system testing. Your expertise in system architectural design, modelling, simulation, systems analysis, testing, statistical analysis, and reliability engineering will be key to guiding product manufacturing and deployment processes.

Systems Analysis and Testing:
Conduct thorough systems analysis to identify potential challenges and opportunities for improvement in the design and deployment phases.
Design and implement system testing strategies to ensure the reliability and functionality of the developed systems.

Statistical Analysis and Reliability Engineering:
Apply statistical analysis methods to evaluate system performance and identify areas for optimisation.
Utilise reliability engineering principles to enhance the robustness and longevity of the deployed systems.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science).
Proven experience in system architectural design, modelling and simulation, systems analysis, and reliability engineering.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods and their application in system development.
Previous experience in guiding teams through the entire product lifecycle, from design to deployment.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in system engineering.
