As a Residential Support Worker, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic and fast-pacedenvironment where every day is filled with new challenges and opportunities to make a significant difference in thelives of young people.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, compassionate care aligned with individual care plans and the homes objectives.
- Build positive, respectful relationships, offering emotional and practical support.
- Provide mentorship as a key worker, ensuring care plans are current and reflect evolving needs.
- Support young people in educational and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports for reviews and planning meetings.
- Advocate for young peoples rights, fostering active involvement in their life decisions.
Teamwork and Conduct:
- Collaborate effectively with team members to uphold a supportive, respectful work environment.
- Attend team meetings, contributing positively and sharing constructive feedback.
- Uphold policies and procedures, ensuring safeguarding and child protection protocols are strictly followed.
Environment and Resource Management:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment, ensuring Health and Safety standards are met.
- Encourage community engagement, supporting young people in building social connections.
- Participate in administration and reporting as required by management.
