Oracle DBA – Oracle 19g - AIX – Linux – Cardiff – Inside IR35
My client is urgently seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join a client project on an initial 6 month contract. The successful Oracle DBA will work on the ongoing functional support and improvement of the clients current database infrastructure and will assist with Supporting a 24-hour and 7-day a week production environment. You will need to manage & resolve Oracle DB and App issues, Install/configure/manage/monitor Oracle Databases Database. Meeting infrastructure requirements of new projects and overseeing their progress to business as usual applications.

* 6 month initial contract - Extensions highly likely
* 99% Remote working – 1 -2 days per Months onsite in Cardiff would be Ideal

Demonstrable experience as an Oracle DBA / Oracle database support – Ideally at 19g
Diagnostic and Tuning skills for Oracle databases with OEM
Good Knowledge of Linux and Aix Operating Systems
Ability to work well with offshore teams and 3rd party vendors.
Oracle E-business / Financials
Database Cloning
HA RAC and Data Guard
DevOps experience and using products such as JIRA and GITHUB.
Oracle Middleware Infrastructure
Informatica Powercenter And Data Quality tools
