Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst

Role Overview

In response to growing client needs and a heightened emphasis on enhancing cyber and information security initiatives, we are seeking a motivated Cyber Audit Risk Analyst to join our dynamic Cyber Security team. We collaborate with clients across diverse sectors, helping them assess and improve their information and cyber security frameworks, providing recommendations, and supporting their security enhancement efforts.

As a Cyber Audit Risk Consultant, your primary focus will be on assessing and evaluating the IT systems, security risks, and controls of our clients. You will also document their cyber security posture as part of comprehensive reviews. This role offers exposure to a wide range of clients at various stages in their cyber and information security journey, allowing you to gain extensive practical experience while contributing to the enhancement of clients' operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality client audits through effective planning, diligent execution, and proactive client engagement.

Prepare detailed working papers that document the client’s cyber and information security controls and audit observations.

Draft clear and comprehensive audit findings, highlighting security control weaknesses, associated risks, and providing practical recommendations for client management.

Foster lasting relationships with clients based on professionalism, subject matter expertise, and a genuine interest in their success.

Contribute to the development of information and cyber security assessment methodologies.

Skills & Expertise

Proven experience in delivering Cyber Security audits.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at various levels of seniority.

A strong understanding of technology platforms.

Working knowledge of information security frameworks, including ISO27001, NCSC Ten Steps, CIS Top 18, NIST, and Cyber Essentials.

A keen interest in and understanding of information security and cyber security risks and controls across various industries.

Competent reporting and presentation skills.

Ability to deliver work within tight deadlines, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Experience in conducting SOC1 and/or SOC2 audits is an advantage.

Industry-recognized qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO27001 Auditor, or equivalent are beneficial.
