This role is crucial in ensuring the financial viability, operational efficiency, and overall success of our housing schemes. Oversee all housing management services, including planning, controlling, and deploying financial, staffing, and physical resources.
Manage rental income and housing benefit payments, ensuring financial control and compliance with internal procedures.
Act as the named health and safety officer, leading all health and safety initiatives.
Maintain and improve service quality through extensive interaction with managing agents and housing providers.
Develop and maintain policies, records, and practices to meet regulatory requirements.
Build and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders, including landlords, local authorities, and charity partners.
Contribute to the overall strategy and risk management of the association.
Prepare and present quarterly reports to the Chair and Board on operational matters and key performance indicators.
Proven experience in housing management, with a strong background in working with managing agents.
