This role will lead the entirety of the Procurement & Supplier Relationships for the business focusing on transformation and centralisation of processes and policy.

Develop and implement a coherent procurement strategy, aligned with the organisation’s goals
Oversee the procurement process including sourcing, purchasing and inventory management;
Manage procurement documentation and records
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements
Conduct regular audits and reviews of procurement activities; Manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure that the business is positioned to secure optimum pricing and terms in both the short and long term
Evaluate and monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Take part in, and where appropriate lead, cross functional projects to deliver improvements to cost base, supplier terms and ability to deliver excellent services to customers;
Develop, optimise and own the group-wide purchasing process, ensuring appropriate controls are balanced with the requirement to execute quickly and efficiently
Communicate procurement policies and procedures across the organisation and conduct regular reports and updates (and exceptions reporting) to Management team
Establish robust due diligence and review procedures to ensure legal and compliance risks within vendor management are appropriately assessed and mitigated
Develop performance indicators for procurement and to monitor performance against agreed targets and to ensure the timely production of reports and statistical information; Generate and lead projects to deliver step change improvements to the Group’s cost base and ability to deliver high quality services to its customers.

Strong Procurement Experience specifically in I.Experience Leading Procurement & Supplier Relationship functions
Experience centralising procurement within an organisation that has grown either through acquisition
