What You’ll Be Doing
As a key player in our manufacturing processes, you will:
Develop New Manufacturing Processes: Create robust, cost-effective solutions that align with our Engineering Plans and Budgets, ensuring we meet customer expectations.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain industry standards for long-term process stability, utilizing Lean Principles, Process Control Plans, and more.
Specify and Qualify Equipment: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure all process equipment meets regulatory and safety standards.
Coordinate Development Activities: Establish supporting data to ensure our manufacturing processes are grounded in a solid understanding of materials and technology.
Manage Project Data: Capture and control process and design information through our Product Lifecycle Management system.
Support Project Activities: Engage in process reviews, capability studies, and Safe System of Work initiatives.
Present Findings: Communicate process status to line management and stakeholders through engaging verbal and written presentations.
Your Skills and Experiences
We’re looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or equivalent engineering discipline.
Strong technical and manufacturing foundation with the ability to work under pressure.
Proven ability to prioritize a varying workload while maintaining high quality standards.
Capability to produce clear written and visual instructions, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Risk Assessments (RA).
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
Good understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes.
IOSH Managing Safety / NEBOSH Certificate.
Exposure to a medium/high volume manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions
This role is primarily on-site, with core working hours from 10 AM to 4 PM and flexibility during the rest of the week. Enjoy an early finish on Fridays
