Hours: Night Shift - 10pm-6am

Company Description

I am currently working with a well known organization based within the West Midlands who are looking for an Maintenance Engineer.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer located in West Brom. The time served Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with equipment maintenance, maintenance engineering, maintenance & repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical maintenance plus much more.

General Scope of work

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.

* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment.

* Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.

* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.

* Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal performance.

* Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities.

* Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed.

Qualifications/Experience/Interests:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role

* Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems

* Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.

* Experience with logic controllers and other automation systems

* Welding experience is an advantage.

* Ability to supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians #J-18808-Ljbffr
