Our client is a leading advanced manufacturing and engineering organisation based in Gloucestershire, currently experiencing sustained growth and ongoing operational improvement. To support this trajectory, they are seeking an accomplished Head of Quality to strengthen their senior leadership team and drive best-in-class quality performance across the business.
Reporting directly to the COO, the Head of Quality will lead the full Quality function across the organisation. This includes ownership of the Quality Management System and ensuring compliance with AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
You will oversee quality control across the entire manufacturing value stream, including testing, validation, product and process compliance, and adherence to customer-specific requirements.
This is a key leadership role, managing a multi-disciplinary quality team consisting of a Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineers, Quality Engineers, Laboratory Technicians, and on-site Inspection teams.
You will be an experienced Quality Leader from a complex engineering or advanced manufacturing environment (e.g., Aerospace, Defence, Automotive). You'll bring deep knowledge of AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001:2015, and AS9102 FAIR requirements, along with proven experience managing inspection and laboratory-based quality processes.
Any exposure to Automotive standards and IATF16949 would also be highly advantageous.
This position requires a confident leader who can develop a high-performing quality team while acting as the primary face of Quality to both customers and suppliers.
