Learning Support Assistant

Immediate Start - July 2024 (Potential to stay on in September)

Position: General Classroom Support

Industry: Primary Education

Join us at Teaching Personnel, where we proudly collaborate with one of our esteemed partner Primary Schools, seeking to appoint two dedicated Learning Support Assistants for full-time positions starting immediately. As a crucial member of the team, you will primarily serve as a general classroom assistant, with occasional duties providing emotional and behavioral support to children in need.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating small group interventions, integrating pupils gradually into mainstream classes, and providing occasional one-on-one support.

Previous experience in managing challenging behaviors and supporting Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in youth
Resilience and adaptability when working with students displaying challenging behaviors and those at risk of exclusion
A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young people
Legal right to work in the UK
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (assistance provided)
