The details…

  • The Website/App Vertical Editor will work within the UEFA digital content delivery team at InCrowd Sports, supporting with the planning, commissioning, editing and posting of vertical content on UEFA’s website and its competition-specific apps.
  • Following the successful launch of web and app vertical content at UEFA EURO 2024, this role will initially be primarily focused on the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, with an expectation that similar deliveries will follow for the UEFA Conference League, UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Women’s EURO 2025.
  • This is a permanent role, based in our London office with hybrid working options available.

Who are you?

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working alongside our current Vertical Editor on the management of stories format content on UEFA’s official owned platforms, specifically competition apps and competition pages on UEFA.com.
  • On UEFA matchdays you will play a crucial part in planning and executing the curation of live matchday stories that keep audiences updated, as well as bringing fans closer to the action by providing an unrivalled behind-the-scenes insight from across Europe.
  • On non-UEFA matchdays, your role will include digging into the vast UEFA archive, repurposing great football content and using it creatively to execute against the client’s business objectives.
  • You will act as a key coordinator between the social media, video and web/app teams to ensure the best quality, most relevant and on-brand content is surfaced effectively, driving internal referrals where appropriate.
  • You will feed into an integrated publishing calendar to ensure channels are consistently populated with best in class, innovative content that builds the client’s brand and global reputation at all times.
  • You need the capability to fulfil the client’s responsibilities to sponsors and key stakeholders via posting of branded video content.
  • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of content performance through website/app analytics & best practices, and act on them accordingly.

We need you to have…
