Organisation Position Mechanical / Hydraulic Technician - ROV LARS Vacancy ref 83193 Based in Aberdeen - Tullos (Client Office) Business area Subsea & Conventional Working hours 37.5 hours per week Contract type Staff Closing date 20/05/2024 Assignment approximate duration Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical / Hydraulic Technician to join a multi-skilled team, with primary responsibility for the maintenance, repair and servicing of a wide range of ROV Launch and Recovery systems. Participate in the planned maintenance of ROV LARS and associated equipment
Ensure equipment is maintained and in compliance with all technical and project requirements
Interface with other workshop disciplines as and when required
Compile and maintain technical records, reports and logs using the workshop request system & SAP.
Provide technical information to administration team to enable SAP equipment reports to be updated
Ensure Mechanical / Hydraulic Team Lead is updated on all aspects of assigned jobs
Demonstrable Mechanical/Hydraulic knowledge on a wide range of A-frames, Winches and HPU’s
Recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship.
PC literate and proficient in Microsoft software applications
ROV Workshop or relevant offshore would be advantageous
Effective planning and organising skills, able to identify and effectively prioritise workload and efficiently meet multiple, often competing deadlines.
Flexible to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced 24/7 global business.
Pro-active with a solutions-based approach, demonstrates initiative and ownership to deliver workload unsupervised while flexible to support wider team activities.
