Microsoft 365 Administrator / SharePoint Administrator

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: Hybridrole with circa 2 days a week on site (Farringdon Central London andpotentially Twickenham Office
  • Salary: Up to £61,000 per annum

We are seeking a M365/SharePoint Administrator tomanage, configure, and support our M365 environment, with a particularfocus on SharePoint Online. The successful candidate will workalongside a SharePoint Developer to deliver a robust SharePoint Onlineplatform and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the MicrosoftCollaboration ecosystem, especially within Customer Services andbusiness processes.

This great opportunity to join a large andestablished IT Function who continue their transformation and digitaljourney. In this position you will play a key role and work on avariety of workstreams and projects etc.

Day to Day of therole:

  • Manage SharePoint farms, sites, and sitecollections, ensuring proper configuration, permissions, andavailability.
  • Administer the wider M365 Online platform,focusing on SharePoint Online.
  • Provide end-user support,training, and resolve medium to high complexity problem tickets forSharePoint Online.
  • Configure SharePoint services, settings,web parts, and workflows as required.
  • Implement and manageSharePoint security, including user authentication, permissions, andaccess control.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshootissues, and optimise the SharePoint infrastructure.
  • Implementbackup and recovery strategies, perform regular backups, and ensuredata integrity.
  • Create and maintain documentation related toSharePoint configurations and best practices.
  • EnsureSharePoint configurations comply with industry standards, compliancerequirements, and organisational policies.
  • Stay updated withchanges on the M365 Platform and present them to management asappropriate.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Related Microsoft Office365 certifications.
  • ITILv3 (or above) certification.
  • Proven experienceas a SharePoint / M365 Administrator.
  • Strong understanding ofSharePoint architecture, configuration, and customer processes.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and M365 security models,permissions, and user authentication methods.
  • Experience withSharePoint migration, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within ateam.
  • Familiarity withthird-party SharePoint tools and applications.
  • Experiencewith PowerApps/PowerShell.
