The project scope includes planning, design, integration and delivery of major airfield infrastructure, buildings, systems and associated periphery infrastructure. Be part of our exciting infrastructure project in the UK-register your interest by applying now In this role, you will manage the organization and direction of project construction activities and oversee total site management including supervision of construction craft personnel, field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field procurement, and finance and accounting. Your leadership will ensure project operations are compliant, safe, timely, within scope and budget, and clients are satisfied. "This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership" As the Airfield Project Manager, you'll be at the heart of leading the development and delivery of this critical, exciting component of the programme, managing the execution from concept to completion, You'll lead with precision, creativity, and a commitment to safety and sustainability. Working with the Customer and other stakeholders, establish an agreed project baseline (scope, schedule, budget and execution methodologies), and then execute against it Lead and coordinate all aspects of the airfield scope within the programme, ensuring all requirements are fully defined, integrated, and managed. Lead planning, design, management, interface management and onstruction management, related to airfield works, including pavements, drainage, lighting, and navigation aids. Coordinates all project contractual activities and participates in the development of contract, subcontract, or vendor scopes of work, budgets, contract formation,and negotiations Establishes and ensures compliance with project procedures necessary to perform construction in accordance with project technical requirements Ensure compliance with applicable aviation standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., Coordinate with client, consultants, contractors, and internal Bechtel functions to resolve design, technical, and operational issues. Identify and mitigate project risks related to airfield operations and safety. Integrate the Airfield scope with other areas of the programme adhering to engineering designs, specifications, quality standards, schedules, and budget. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance Requirements for airfield elements Responsible for staffing decisions, performance appraisals, and pay reviews Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and 15+ years of relevant experience or 19+ years of relevant work experience Demonstrated understanding of airfield engineering, including pavements, drainage, lighting, and associated systems. Proven experience managing projects in live operational environments. Experience on UK airport infrastructure projects or with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements. Experience with digital design tools, construction management systems, and 3D design coordination.
