We predominantly operate vacuum tankers along with blower tankers and bulk tippers. We have a large client base spread across England and Wales and deliver a first class service to all our customers.

*The role:*

Whites Recycling Ltd are seeking experienced *Full-Time HGV Mechanic/HGV Technician/HGV Fitter *to work at our main depot in South Witham, Grantham, Lincolnshire.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in this field as they will be working within our busy HGV workshop.

*Responsibilities Include:*
* Carry out routine six weekly inspections, maintenance & repairs to strict DVSA standards.
* Mot preparation for Units and trailers.
* Diagnose faults and rectify.
* Ensuring Health & Safety Regulations and safe working practice adhered to.
* Attend breakdowns in our fully equipped vehicle.
* Attend training courses to maintain up to date knowledge.
* Ensure job cards and inspection/service sheets are completed.

*Desirable attributes for the Role:*
* Level 3 Maintenance & Repair Qualifications or time served experience on HGV Truck & Trailers.
* IRTEC Qualification.
* Demonstrate an excellent attitude to work.
* Can work in a team or independently.
* HGV Driving licence.

*Schedule:*
* Monday to Friday (times to be discussed on interview)
* Weekend Rota (one in every three)

*Pay, dependant on experience. Full-Time, Permanent.*
* Expected hours – No less than 45 hours per week.
* Monday – Friday £18.65 per hour
* Saturday-Sunday £19.93 per hour (+£35 callout)
