Weekend Cook

Position: Hostel Assistant/Cook x 2

Location: Rowardennan Lodge Youth Hostel, (G63 0AR)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract, Start date 17/May/2024 until 23/Oct/2024

Accommodation: Live in accommodation available (Note: a small weekly utility levy applies.)

As a Cook / Kitchen Assistant there will be a requirement to cook meals for individuals and groups, and therefore it would be advantageous to have some catering experience. You would be expected to clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and all surfaces, equipment, fridges and freezers and keep the kitchen area clean and tidy. You will be responsible for ordering food and keeping inventory. Ideally, applicants will hold a current food handling/safety qualification. Someone who can support and respect their colleagues, as some of the teams live in depending on location.
