Our client is a Refurbishment and fit out specialist, rapidly growing Contractor. They are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join the team and help the company grow with them.

Assist the Head of QA & Systems with the preparation of project specific tender documentation as and when required.
Support the regular review and update of quality related content that is regularly utilised within tenders. Ensure the project operational site lead is suitably completing the project “Start Up Checklist” and as such supporting a well-planned & coordinated project.
Support the project team in the development of “Project Execution Plans” and other quality focused key project strategic documents / plans. Support the project team in the development of a project specific inspection and testing regime in liaison with the Project Manager and Technical Services Manager.
Coordinate with Document Control team to set up SnagR system for each project in a timely manner.
Support the project teams’ input to the Plexus risk register defining risks and opportunities. Carry out regular site audits and inspections using Nexus and perform trend-analysis for periodic reporting.
Engage with discipline leads and ensure discipline specialist inspections are completed such as Commercial / Document Control / Temporary Works.
Provide QA/QC & Systems specialist project team support, allowing them to quickly address areas of weakness and achieve consistently improved quality standards.
Assist with the provision of performance feedback for each Sub-Contractor relating to site delivery matters. Ensure the project operational site lead is suitably completing the “Handover Checklist” and managing the Handover period.
Support the production of project Finalisation Plans.
Provide QA specialist support to project teams during handover, allowing them to quickly address areas of weakness and achieve consistently better QA standards.
Support the archiving of project records AFTERCARE

Support the Head of QA & Systems in the review of post-PC defects, root cause analysis and work with operational team to improve performance.
Support project review and lessons-learned post-project handover.
Assist with the provision of performance feedback for each Sub-Contractor relating to site delivery matters. Work closely with HS&E to support deployment of effective assurance systems based on effective Health, Safety and Environmental management systems. Support with the annual review and update of company policies and procedures.
Support the Head of QA & Systems in establishing, deploying, and capturing quality related performance measures data.
Lead with the development of best-in-sector digital management systems in liaison with the IT team, providing guidance, support, and training during roll out.
Support the Compliance Team in actions related to the development and deployment of Board agreed business improvement initiatives.
Lead the company R&D Tax Rebate strategy and work with our R&D Consultant to capture and agree on R&D opportunities.
Champion “Four Principles” in the wider business alongside other senior team members.
Lead the Compliance Induction for new starters and deliver the Quality-related section.
Support the Head of QA & Systems in the establishment of a suite of Quality related training sessions and ensure roll out based on a central business training matrix, including records.
Support the Head of QA & Systems in the championing of lessons learned and continual improvement practices during project delivery.
Champion the ongoing development and use of in-house systems (Plexus/Nexus/SnagR/Openspace etc).
Undertake trend analysis of SnagR defects that are raised across projects.
Lead on the production of quality-related technical bulletins to the business.
Support the Head of QA & Systems in the completion of management reviews in support of the business’ discharge of ISO 9001 requirements.
Support in the reporting of sub-contractor performance and the future use of sub-contractors based on contractor’s project performance reviews.
Undertake trend analysis of NCR’s and assurance reports.
Champion quality-related reward and recognition.
Implement a defined program of inspections, monitoring, and audits on an annual basis in relation to ISO 9001 accreditation.
Champion quality-related behaviours, and as such a culture of quality within the business.
Bring management failings or potential compliance breaches to the attention of the Compliance Director. Attend specific project meetings and events as and when required.
Assist with the external promotion of the company.
Assist with maintaining the company ethos and management style as the business progresses.
Comply with Collins quality procedures.
At all times consider environmental issues, ensuring the companies’ environmental policy and procedures are adhered to and that everything is done to reduce emissions. Monitor reporting for all BREEAM, LEED and SKA projects. Look to recycle products from projects where possible and practical.
Ensure you have the required training certificates to carry out the role.
Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, which mandates professional behaviour, respect, safety compliance, confidentiality, responsible conduct at company events, and adherence to substance abuse policies.
