My client is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Plumber to there team. The Facilities Maintenance Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems at the site to ensure functionality and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, fittings, and drains.
Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks, clogs, or malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning drains, replacing washers, and repairing or replacing broken pipes or fixtures.
Troubleshoot plumbing problems and develop effective solutions.
Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate repair and maintenance efforts.
Follow safety procedures and regulations while working with plumbing tools and equipment.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues and resolve them efficiently to minimize downtime.
Provide guidance and assistance to junior maintenance staff as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in plumbing technology.
Proven experience as a Facilities Maintenance Plumber or similar role.
- Valid plumbing license or certification.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform plumbing tasks in various settings.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
Apprenticeship trained or C&G level 2 & 3 equivalent (plumbing)
