We require an experienced head or sous chef to lead the day to day running of the hotel kitchens under our executive chefs guidance.We have two well equipped kitchens serving seasonally changing menus created in house from fresh produce for our 40 cover restaurant, 30 cover tea room and 100 cover function suite plus bar, room service and garden in the summer.The generous salary is based on a forty hour week with overtime, tips and the benefits described below on top.You will be expected to have a background in quality hotels and restaurants and be able to control and motivate a team, have a strong understanding of EHO guidelines especially allergens, a knowledge of Procure wizard ordering systems would be an advantage but not essential. All new starters are expected to pass online Flow training with periodic refresher modules.
This will be a full time position, you will be required to work weekends.
