You are a dynamic, skilled QA Engineer with a passion for technology and a keen sense of pride in the work you do. You are focused on delivering high-quality solutions to given timelines and are comfortable in an agile scrum environment. You will be expected to mentor more junior members of the team, contribute to planning sessions, architect technical solutions, and guide the technical evolution of products.
Access Assure is the leading remote monitoring platform providing insights and prolonging independence. The platform consists of the Assure Home Hub, Mobile App, and Dashboard with advanced reporting and analytics capability. The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for driving the QA process for our flagship Assure Home Hub, all hardware components, and the firmware operating system.
Work with and improve our internal Quality Assistance process within a fast-moving, agile environment.
# Design and develop testing to meet agreed acceptance criteria and stories using a range of languages and technologies. Ensure QA standards are established, known, coached, and followed within an agile team.
# Actively contribute to refinement and take responsibility for understanding scope, risk, and complexity of changes from inception through delivery.
# Participate in defect identification, replication, and communication including risks and required resolutions. Own Quality-centered activities including: static reviews, collaboration with Development and Product, planning, early discovery of defects, exploratory testing techniques, optimal running of regression periods, and proactive risk management.
# Develop testing frameworks specifically tailored to testing hardware products operating on critical infrastructure.

Understanding of Test Design techniques for optimal coverage, including: requirements coverage, end-to-end testing, boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, exploratory testing, User Paths and scenarios, and data-driven testing.
Demonstrable expertise in the whole testing life cycle including knowledge of various test methodologies, definition of test plans and test scripts, test execution, and raising defects.
Experience of working with hardware products and testing of IoT devices.
Experience in providing testing against industry standards, specifications, and business requirements.
Good understanding of Risk and how to identify and assess it, including Risk-based Testing.
