We are inviting applications for a rotational MSK B7 Physiotherapist. Our rotational posts offer experienced staff the opportunities to work across a wide range of clinical areas including: Outpatient trauma clinics (fracture clinic/virtual fracture clinic) Lower Limb Spines Shoulder-Elbow Wrist and Hand Rheumatology Pain Limb Reconstruction and Hydrotherapy. Staff request their choice of 12 month rotation based on professional development needs. Job plans are based on 80% clinical and 20% SPA time.
Band 7 staff are integral to staff and service development and must demonstrate compassionate and empowering leadership approach. All our B7 staff have a named B8a supervisor and will be supported with training identified in annual appraisal and PDP.
Our team are supported by Consultant Physiotherapists and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners who drive both service and staff development in line with national initiatives. We have close links to the local universities and we are striving to increase research opportunities within the MSK team. Staff are required to work flexibly and respond to the changing needs of the service.
Training posts would be considered under Annex 21 AfC terms and conditions.
You will be required to deliver a high standard of clinical care and be responsible for ensuring robust governance processes and safe systems of work. You will play an active role in supporting the MSK leadership team with departmental improvement projects and ensure Trust HR policies are locally adhered to. About us Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.
The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
