Job Title: Business Development Executive Location: Cheltenham Pay Range: £25,000 to £30,000 base + Commission Type: Permanent Our client, a leading manufacturer of patient care and handling equipment, is seeking an internal Business Development to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities – Business Development Executive: Identify and engage new business opportunities. Possess a detailed understanding of the relevant guidelines and legislation identify applicable. Build projects from the Glenigan database, contact the architect (CPD, design input), the QS (layout advice, requirement for early structural consultation, offer of quote), the Client (design awareness). Identify downloaders from NBS Revit files and Specifications, engage and offer design advice CPD. Possess a detailed understanding of the relevant guidelines, identify and engage with Long Term Care environments, where products are required, from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) database. Once initial conversations are made pass to sales team for quotation, site visits (if required). Qualifications & Experience – Business Development Executive: At least 2 years in a Business Development role, in B2B channel. (Mandatory) Experience of Built Environment (Desirable) Experience of working with Senior Management, Architects and QS (Desirable). Excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products. (Essential) Great communicator with ability to write and speak appropriately to/with a B2B audience. (Mandatory) Organised and ability to update systems with tracking of opportunities.
